Constança is a film director and writer with demonstrated experience in the entertainment and advertising fields. Initiating her academic studies in Lisbon with a Bachelor degree in Law, she later moved to London to pursue her dream of becoming a film director. She studied practical filmmaking at Met Film School, furthering her expertise with a post-graduation directing commercials course at the prestigious National Film and Television School, where she developed her skills as a commercial’s director. Recently nominated for two Young British Arrows, she won an award for Best Commercial of the Year with her Burt’s Bees commercial, where she created a lot of buzz with her eye-catching film portraying a funny make-up battle between two young women.
From the fashion industry to brand promos, commercials, music videos and live multi-cam shows, she demonstrates high-quality creative standards of storytelling. With a strong visual filmmaking style, she creates modern, dynamic and engaging film concepts for brands.
Extremely organized, methodic, and very hard worker, Constança takes every project she works on very seriously and becomes a true team player, always very conscious of the importance of collaboration and team work on a film set. Based in London but born and raised in Lisbon, she’s been developing her career in both cities, working in the production field at NBC Universal London, and as a commercials director in both cities.
